Zocalo - Bozeman: Your Cozy Coffee Retreat in Downtown Bozeman

Definitely recommend. Great local spot in Bozeman to work, chill, or hangout. The staff is super cool. There is convenient and free parking behind the coffee shop if the road is full in front.

I love the flower paintings in the shop and the menu is amazing . I recommend Zocalo coffee shop as one of the best in Bozeman. They have excellent coffee, tea, baked goods, and lattes. I got a chai latte with oat milk and I will say that it was the best chai I have ever had.

I walked into Zocalo after a 3 day bender of a bachelor party, as I needed some alone time and caffeine to decompress. The barista was so mf kind, I wish I would have got her name. She genuinely asked me how my day was going and how I've liked Montana so far. Good people in here. I got my iced americano ($3.50) and walked upstairs and took in my surroundings: A huge skylight illuminates this place with natural light, local artists' work for sale litters the exposed brick walls, rustic floors, and ample seating both upstairs and downstairs. As my delicious americano slowly brought me back to life, I listened in on a young couple interacting as it seemed like a first date. It was so cute. You could tell homie was a little nervous as he was asking her about jobs and her work load in school. He stumbled around with a couple "that's crazy..." which I felt on a spiritual level. I think she was eating it up, but you never know. Man in the Arena. They had a picture of Anthony Bourdain in here as well, which really put Zocalo over the top for me. If you're looking for a cute coffee shop with cozy indoor seating, check out Zocalo. Food/Drinks: The coffee and matcha drinks were spot on—flavorful and well-prepared. Atmosphere: This is a charming spot with plenty of indoor seating, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Price: Very reasonable considering the area—good value for the drinks. Parking: Street parking is available, and there’s also a nearby garage for added convenience.

Great little cafe coffee shop in downtown Bozeman. My group and I all enjoyed our coffees. I got the Scooby Snack which was some combination of mocha caramel and cinnamon I believe and it was very good. I would recommend to anyone and will be back next time I am in Bozeman.

I love Zocalo. It's definitely got a great atmosphere and the drinks /staff are great. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation has got to be addressed. The upstairs restroom has been out of service for at least a year and, more importantly, the now-sole restroom's fan has been out-of-commission for several months. Why does this matter? Because if you need to use the bathroom—which many do—you become distinctly aware of two things as soon as you enter: 1) you can hear everyone on the other side of that door, and they can hear you right back, and 2) it smells exactly like you'd expect a public bathroom with no fan. And, oh, should you have the misfortune of another person entering immediately after you exit, to your shame, you now have the smell of a thousand toilet trips associated with you personally. God help you if you must ever see that person again. I will happily update this review once this issue is addressed.

Great coffee spot. Checked it out as it has a ton of positive reviews and they are appropriate. Very cute atmosphere and plenty of seating for at least 20 people. Lots of homemade strips. Check out the cardamom syrup.
